Does anyone out there listen or read Gerald Celente? Within the last few months I have found different posts, articles and videos by him and find his information pretty concerning. I mean, for Joe average, it looks like life not only in this country but world wide is going to get pretty difficult.
What I do like about his information is, it helps to keep me motivated. I keep trying to find ways to further my preps. One such way is over the past few months when we have needed to purchase items, usually clothes, we shop second hand stores. I have routinely found items that I can wear that still had the original store tags on them for pennies on the dollar. That has been a real plus for us as my size and weight have both been reducing and I’ve needed to purchase new clothes.
Anytime I can save money, to either save, or use elsewhere (such as bills) that’s great. Another place I found to be of worth is Aldi’s food store. They’re not fancy, but the saving are good. Do a Google search to find the one closest to you. Also for some of your larger purchases of rice or noodles try the Asian markets. Here in the Twin Cities, University Ave and that area in St Paul has lots of them. My favorite is one off of University and Dale. They have a good selection of lots of items and the store is pretty clean.
